Who is FRKY?

Hi, my name is Steph (FRKY). I am the owner of FRKYS Realm. I am a Graphic Designer based in Colorado. I attended college where I received a degree in graphic design. Through doing projects for clients in school I decided that instead of working for a graphic design firm where your told to do art a certain way I wanted to open my own freelance business and show the world the way I see art.

The name FRKY was a nickname given to me years ago. I am just a girl in a wheelchair who had a different color hair every other month in school and got bored and decided gauged her ear piercings on break lol! So yea I guess the nickname was kinda appropriate and over the years it just stuck and I decided to make something out of it. Now as I’ve grown into an adult I have multiple tattoos and piercings and I like to think my tattoos give people something to look at rather than them focus on the fact that I am in a wheelchair and am disabled. I guess to some I am out of the norm of what a “disabled” person may look like and I like to reflect that “not of the norm” type vibe into my art.

My art tends to include a little bit of everything. I don't know that I have a specific style to my art (if you see one let me know lol!) I love music, the abstract and weird side of art as well as gothic and the steampunk culture. All of these combined are the things that inspire me to create the art you see.

When I am not designing a new piece or working with a client, you will see me out in nature with my partner taking pictures of the beautiful scenery or out at a concert rocking out in the pit, enjoying the intense energy while taking pictures of the bands on stage.

I specialize in custom graphics including, but not limited to, logos, posters, book/magazine layout, full page ads and more. I am highly motivated, highly skilled, and customer oriented. With my degree, skills courses, and work experience I will be able to provide you with exactly what you want, need and desire.
